These piers are great for use when a foundation is damaged or when the soil is very unstable. Ground with very soft layers or high levels of moisture can cause this.
It is possible that several foundations in the area have been damaged. In such cases, pier drilling could be very beneficial. You should look out for signs such as uneven floors, large gaps between doors and windows, cracks on walls and ceilings, leaning chimneys, and cracks in basement walls.
