If you are a UK homeowner, the winter presents little, if any, risk of pest invasion, yet as spring makes its way, the risk of rodent or other pests invading your home increases. The following creatures all pose a threat.

  • Ants – It is purely down to chance as to whether a colony of ants decide to move into your house, and while home remedies might reduce their numbers, the only way to exterminate the entire colony is by calling in a pest control provider.
  • Bees, Wasps & Hornets– Summer time creatures, bees and wasps are commonplace in the UK, and while hornets tend to make their home in the forest, they have been known to nest in the roof of a house. Needless to say, these creatures all have a nasty sting, especially hornets, and all 3 species will vigorously defend their nest if it is disturbed. Do not approach a nest of you discover one in your garden, rather call out the experts, who will make short work of removing them from your property.
  • Cockroaches– No one likes these tough little insects, and if they decide to set up home on your property, a quick call to your local pest control company will see the issue quickly resolved.

Most of the above creatures are disease carriers and it just isn’t worth the risk of leaving then to their own devices. Your local pest control service is the company to call whenever you have a pest infestation.
